MONTASH Jewellery Design specialises in the design, make and remodelling of jewellery pieces. As a manufacturing jeweller, MONTASH make and remodel jewellery whilst staying within your budget. One way we do this is by allowing you to choose one of our jewellery manufacture methods.
The methods are:
Machine cast made and set
This is the cheapest method of manufacture. Pieces are usually made very fine in structure including the claws and can also be hollowed out to lighten the piece to save money on the metal! Not great for large valuable diamonds in our opinion and generally not used at MONTASH!
Machine Computer Aided Design (CAD) cast made and hand set
This method of manufacture enables any design and weight. The piece can be made very sturdy and strong with thicker claws. The casting must be made correctly to try and avoid any weaknesses such as cracks!
Handmade and handset
This method of manufacture is the most expensive but can be designed any way! The piece can be made very sturdy and strong with thicker claws. The advantage to handmade is that there are no weaknesses or possibility of cracks!
